BLUR
A virtual background for your whole screen-share — mark any window private and it stays frosted on every share, recording, and stream.

Mark any window as private. On your own monitor everything looks completely normal — but on every screen-share, recording, and live stream, the marked windows show up heavily frosted. Zoom, Teams, Meet, OBS: it works the same everywhere, because you share BLUR's safe copy, not your raw screen.
What it does
- Mark windows private in one click — tick the apps no one should see (Slack, your inbox, a CRM, Discord, donation alerts) from a list of open windows. Everything else stays exactly as it is.
- You share a safe surface, not your screen — BLUR captures your display, frosts the marked windows on its own GPU copy, and hands that to the meeting or streaming app. The raw sensitive window is never exposed.
- Live-tracked, leak-proof — frost panels follow protected windows as they move, resize, or get covered, with motion smoothing so nothing slips through during a transition.
- A panic hotkey for surprises — one global keypress instantly frosts everything, for the pop-up no rule can anticipate.
Local by design
All capture and compositing stay in memory and on the GPU — no frame is ever written to disk or sent over the network. No cloud, no telemetry, no account, and even the license is verified offline on-device. For a tool that sees your whole screen, that's the whole point.
Built for two kinds of leak
The same engine serves compliance-sensitive professionals — support, finance, healthcare, legal, sales — who screen-share real data all day, and streamers on multi-monitor rigs guarding DMs, personal tabs, and viewer names from the live broadcast and the permanent VOD.
